Vietnamese authorities will conduct regular inspections of casinos

Vietnam's casinos will conduct regular inspections. According to the local edition of VnExpress, the Ministry of Finance initiated them.
The inspection will visit casinos for foreigners in seven provinces and cities of the country.
There are currently nine casinos operating in Vietnam, including three large ones on Phu Quoc Island in Kien Giang Province, Hoi An in Quang Nam Province and Ba Ria in Vung Tau Province. The remaining six casinos are in Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Lao Cai and Da Nang.
The inspections are aimed at ensuring that casino operations strictly comply with the law. At the same time, the Ministry of Finance earlier reported the detection of several illegal casinos operating in the country.
Recall that since January 2019, under a pilot program in Vietnam allowed the admission of local residents to the casino Corona Resort & Casino. The gambling establishment is located on Phu Quoc Island in Kien Giang Province. The country's authorities also plan to open two more casinos for locals.
