Nevada casino revenue down 2% in June 2023

The gross gambling revenue of more than 400 casinos operating in the US state of Nevada in June 2023 exceeded a billion dollars for the 28th consecutive month. This follows from the financial report published last Friday on the website of the Nevada Gaming Commission (The Nevada Gaming Control Board).
According to the contents of the document, gambling income for the reporting period amounted to $1.245 billion, which is 2.44% less than in June 2022.
$836.2 million in casino revenue was from slots, down 0.3% from a year earlier. Board games generated $409.6 million in revenue. The largest table game revenue came from blackjack with $104 million. This is followed by baccarat - $101 million.
For the fiscal year July 1, 2022 to June 30, Nevada casinos generated $15.1 billion in revenue, up $500 million from the previous fiscal year.
